I'm Alana Jenkins, a senior Animation & Illustration major at University of Northwestern. I'm very passionate about being creative and have been my whole life. My biggest passions are creating characters, character backstories and world building. In my own time, I also enjoy costume making, sewing and sculpture.

My approach to my work often consists of taking nearly as long to gather inspiration as the actual creation process. I spark my mind's eye through music, photography, and others' creativity. In my pieces here, I spent many hours getting to know each character, and they belong to an entire universe, as do my background pieces.
